What to bring to your first English lesson
A topic, a question, or a situation you want to handle in English. That is enough to begin.
Choose one situation
Think of a moment when you wanted to say more in English. It might be a meeting, a conversation with a neighbor, or a story you wanted to tell. You can bring that situation to your lesson.
You do not need a polished speech. A few notes can help you remember what matters.
Bring questions, too
You can ask about a phrase you heard or something you find difficult to explain. If a topic feels too personal, choose another one. There is plenty to talk about without sharing private details.
What happens in the diagnostic
The English Lab diagnostic is a free 20-minute conversation with Patrick. The call is recorded for your SpeakTape report, with the recording agreement shown before you book.
Patrick reviews the recording and checks the report before sharing it. You keep your reviewed report whether or not you book another lesson. No payment is required.
